The main features that characterize the Zypad WR 11xx are:

Hands-free operation through Wearability

The WR 11xx is composed by two parts. The first one is the rigid wrist support which allows ergonomic positioning and easy fastening to the arm, even over the users work clothes, thus ensuring ideal weight distribution and maximum comfort. The second one is the removable core system which allows users to easily insert/remove it from main Rigid Wrist support at any time.
Its ergonomic design coupled with its easy interface (ensured by touch-screen functions and a mini keyboard) allow the user hands-free operation.

Modular architecture

Thanks to the high level of circuit miniaturization, the Zypad WR 11xx harnesses all the potential power expected from standard ARM hardware and software architectures.
Another big advantage of the WR11xx is the modularity-the ability to change the functions for the device by merely replacing a module. If the user wishes to switch from a GPS receiver to a GPRS module, for example, this can be done through a simple, plug-and-play, hot swap operation. Being modular, also the battery module is easy to remove and insert allowing a fast replacing on the field that combined with the hot swapping functionality gives a further benefit for the users.

Connectivity

The wireless functions of the WR 11xx ensure continuous connectivity regardless of the user's location. This is achieved by utilizing Wi-Fi, Bluetooth technologies. The expasion modules of the WR 11xx can integrate GPS, WWAN or other communication channels.
Using Linux operating systems, the unit can be quickly configured to access any remote host system through integrated wired or wireless interfaces.
